So possibly my quickest trip this far into BC. Left Thursday at about 9am, got home Friday 9pm. 1400km round trip. I'm currently on reading week. And I just had to get out of the house and do something that isn't school or computers.
And yes, this is in the middle of February. And all of about an hours drive from Revelstoke BC, one of the snowiest places around. (which is still in high ski season)
Still ice and such around, but -way- nicer than the brown in Alberta atm. And odly, less ice than when I was here last (in April!?)
Did you ever take the path that goes above the falls? I finally found it this time. And umm. scared the crap out of myself after scrambling down to the top of the falls. It's umm, very slippery, and a really long way down @_@. I was shocked to see how large that upper area is. Couldn't get a great view from where I was, but next time I might try for the other side.
