So. This is the result of some more photoshop effort. I tried 3 new things with this one.
First: A white border. I think it helps the image, I tried black, it didn't work so well.
Second: Signing my name. Gave me an excuse to dig out my old wacom.
Third: "Smart Sharpen" I've never really used sharpen masks before except in picasa. And this one really pissed me off. For some reason, it wouldn't actually apply to the image until I selected the "channels" tab instead of the "layers" tab. Which makes absolutely no sense to me, because it shows up in the preview, you hit ok, and then it sits there thinking. Then it snaps back to the "before" image without saying anything. But if you try to apply it again, the preview is all pixilated because it's apply two sharpens..... Basically. I hate photoshop because nothing makes sense until you are shown what to do..
But anyway. I like how this turned out.
*edit* Taking the advice of some of the critiques, I have taken the twig that was in the water out. Hopefully I didn't screwup the lighting !
This is beautiful honestly and I feel the square crop works well. Excellent eye leading composition from top right to bottom left, almost covering the whole frame.
Honestly I think this may be the best shot I have ever seen from you, and ya know, you are really growing as a photographer as this shot surely indicated.
I can't really think of anything to suggest for it.
The color is wonderful and I love the added touch of Pink against those vivid greens...along with the wildflowers in the background.
Pretty much nailed this one bud I would say! Great work!
I tried that one out, I just wasn't able to get, at least in my eyes, as good of a result. It was really easy with smartsharpen, the unsharpen seemed to need other tweaking afterwards
